My father was in the army. He even went to the Korean war. At his funeral at the very last minute, we were informed that there would be three soldiers there to present my mother with the flag, but they could not do the 21 gun salute because they were worried about disturbing the neighbors around the cemetery. I feel that that was a dishonor to my father. I’m sure people that live around a cemetery know that soldiers get buried in cemeteries so you’re gonna hear the 21 gun salute. There was three soldiers there that could have fired their firearm seven times or they could’ve had seven soldiers there and fire three times that was something that my father always told me about because although no one wants to die he always see it when I do die. It’s gonna be an honor to have that 21 gun salute in honor of me going to war. So I am making some things to symbolize for soldiers with the 21 gun salute. I am also putting the bullet shavings on the box that his flag is displayed in. I will put 21 on there because he deserved it.

I love these thin sliced ammo. I used them to make my jewelry. I added flowers and a clasp now I have a pretty bracelet. I used them to make a set of earrings with a revolver dangle and of course I made my very own version of the 250th anniversary of our great nation necklace and bracelet combo.
